The school has a 360° approach towards helping a child with special needs achieve independence. A structured and cohesive individualized functional and educational plan is designed after a comprehensive assessment of the child.

The Academy of Learning and Development has changed my son, Hriday's life in more ways than one. He is more sociable, approachable and more than anything else, he's always smiling. Hriday's motor and social skills have improved dramatically with the help of the teachers, caregivers and support staff. I look forward to more social and developmental growth in the years to come. Rajat is attending the Academy of Learning and Development since two years and in his third year today, we see a significant improvement in his body awareness, sensory integration and threshold of tolerance. Academy of Learning and Development is the best thing to have happened not only to my differently abled daughter but to my whole family. It is quite a challenge for the team to work on my child with quadriplegic cerebral palsy but must say given their tireless efforts and an AMAZING team of staff and teachers there is a major noticeable social change in my child. The best part about this school is that it is constantly educating itself for the betterment of the children with different conditions.

After moving from Delhi to Mumbai in 2012, we were looking for a school for our CP child and our search ended in 2015 when we located ALD, though a bit late, as ALD also came into existence in 2012. Nonetheless it never matters when, at the end, we did find our desired place. ALD provides all those facilities and space to our daughter which we were looking for. I wish we have more such schools across India to attend to the needs of special children in a professional and dedicated manner.
“ALD, the right choice”
Almost two years back, we were looking out for a school for our child. We went to many but somehow were not convinced that we could trust them with our child. Our search ended when we came to ALD. It was more than what we were looking for. From hygiene to good faculty, the entire focus is on the wellbeing of the child. It's been almost two years now and we are glad we took the right decision. Not only has our son become active but he has better physical health too. He has become aware of his environment and now has ‘set timings’ unlike before. I am thankful to Arti Ma’am, Rinku Ma’am and the entire staff for giving him a home away from home.
My son is 2.5 years old. He has severe cerebral palsy. Till the end of Feb he did not turn his head to the left at all. He had very limited mobility. Neck holding and eye contact was very poor. We were lucky enough to get ABM NM lessons from Arti Deo mam in the month of March. Within the first two days itself my son started turning his head to the left. Soon he learnt to push with his feet. Also his spasticity decreased. We saw improvements in his vision within 30 lessons. Also my son feels happy and his learning switch gets on during Arti mam's lessons. We did physio for one year, tried different therapies but saw very little improvement in him. Whereas ABM NM is like a miracle in itself. We have seen significant changes in a span of 15 days. We are thankful to Arti mam for bringing ABMNM to India and making it accessible to us. We are very hopeful for our son now. We were lucky to have learnt about ABMNM and found Arti Deo mam and we hope and pray that other parents with special needs children also take advantage of ABMNM now available in our country.
Arti has been working with my baby for about one and a half years now. We have noticed clear jumps in his development after every intensive. Her therapy has also very positively affected his vision which was an added benefit. I also want to add that my baby is perfectly comfortable and very happy in his therapy sessions with her. This is quite different from when he was undergoing occupational therapy where many times he would cry through entire sessions.
